A Field Appraisal of Ecological Factors in the Male Climacteric Symptoms



Abstract
In order to investigate the factors influencing on male climacteric stal factors including diet, physical activities, stress, smoking & drinking habit f Individuals were examined.
Four hundred seventy Korean men residing in seoul area, over 30 years of age were studied. In the analysis, the association between male climacteric symptoms and each variables were tested using X2 test. Then logit analysis were employed to identify the most influencing factors among the variables.
Among the various male climacteric symptoms, asthenopia appered to be the most frequent symptom for the subjects. studied. As a result of the analysis, smoking habit appear to be the most influencing factor. However, among the non-smoking groups, individuals who had a reasonably adequate fat diet and low prevalence of male climacteric symptoms.
